Current Project Vehicles
1996 Ford E250 4x4 Van
This van was purchased to be a reliable shop vehicle, NOT a project. Unfortunately, it cracked a head and required some serious work to repair. Being me, I couldn't simply replace stock parts with rebuilt stock parts.
I upgraded the heads to big valve, better flowing Patriot Performance aluminum heads with smaller combustion chambers (higher compression), as well as Hedman manifold replacement headers, 1.6 Ratio roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake Manifold, ported stock throttle body, custom air filter intake setup and a 3" cat-back exhaust.
The 351W is rated at 210hp stock. This one should make in the neighborhood of 300hp but with the stock cam and mild collection of parts, still have a very docile power delivery and good reliability.
I have also added interior paneling with insulation, some interior tool boxes that double as a bed base in the back, and some more tie down points for cargo or motorcycles in the back.
